Volunteer Victoria wants to reassure you that we are closely following the latest developments of Covid-19. Our priority is ensuring the health and safety of our participants, members, staff, their families, and the greater community.
We continue to follow the latest guidance from the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Centre for Disease Control, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization.
While the risk of contracting the illness remains low, we are taking a number of proactive steps including social distancing measures for our staff, volunteers, board members, clients, and member agencies.
Our programs and volunteer advising services will be available online, by email, Zoom, and phone. Our office will, however, be closed until further notice. Staff remain available by email.
Please note that most of our learning and training events will move online. Please stay tuned for opportunities to continue to stay involved and connected with us through online meetings.
The situation is fluid and subject to rapid change. We will continue to review our pandemic plans and policies and modify as new information emerges. We will share relevant information with you on our website as quickly as we can.
If you have questions, please contact Lisa Mort-Putland, Executive Director, at lisa@volunteervictoria.bc.ca.
