Unit Four is the reason why board members sometimes feel overwhelmed with board work. There is a lot of responsibility and the work is diverse and needs different types of skills, attention, and timelines. The good news is that not everything has to done at one time, and with a good action plan boards can explore and address issues in a meaningful way.
What strategies do you have to help you manage the ‘work of the board?’
