DESCRIPTION:Quadra Village Day is an exciting\, annual community building celebration in the Quadra Village neighbourhood. There will be a free pancake breakfast\, snacks\, live music\, dances\, inflatables\, children’s activities\, workshops\, and more! \n\n\n\nHere are the details for volunteering:  \n\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, May 11th\, 2024 \n\n\n\nEvent Time: 9:30am – 1pm (Please note: Volunteer timings may differ depending on your shift) \n\n\n\nLocation: 901 Kings Road (Quadra Village Community Centre) \n\n\n\nThere are multiple shifts available. An example –  \n\n\n\nShift #1- 7:30-9:30am: set up;  \n\n\n\nShift #2 –  9-11:30am: barricades \n\n\n\n9-11:30am: parking lot attendant \n\n\n\n9:30-11:30am: recycling/compost \n\n\n\n9:30-11:30am: relay races \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEvery volunteer will be provided a t-shirt to wear at the event.  \n\n\n\nVolunteer Wrap Up Party: \n\n\n\nAll volunteers are invited to our Quadra Village Day Wrap Up Party! DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first ‘Hold on to your Butt’ Cleanup of the year\, being held by the Surfrider Foundation South Vancouver Island! We will be doing a shoreline cleanup as well as a focus on cigarette butts along the Galloping Goose walking path. All the debris is sorted\, recycled and disposed of properly by our fabulous partners at Atlas Junk Removal. \n\n\n\nJoin us for our first ‘Hold on to your Butt’ Cleanup of the year\, being held by the Surfrider Foundation South Vancouver Island! We will be doing a shoreline cleanup as well as a focus on cigarette butts along the Galloping Goose walking path.
