DESCRIPTION:Are you aged 16-24\, passionate about protecting our living planet\, wanting to take effective action\, and make friends across the world? If yes\, Global Activators wants you to join them! \n\n\n\nGlobal Activators is a charitable organization with the mission of protecting life on Earth. They aim to both secure biological diversity (i.e. the variety of living species on our planet) and advance the solutions to the climate crisis. Of course these global problems are huge\, and individual actions like recycling can sometimes feel futile\, but there is transformative power when we join together in large numbers with a focused goal. \n\n\n\nTheir youth gatherings and advocacy campaigns provide you with the training\, structure\, and support to help maximize your impact for positive change. They are building a massive global alliance to protect our planet that spans cultures\, generations\, political identities\, and national borders — and it’s all being powered by young people! \n\n\n\nThe planet’s forests have a very important function in stabilizing the global climate\, provide the home to countless creatures\, and are the repository of much of the Earth’s fresh water. Protecting and restoring forests is essential for combating the climate emergency and the biodiversity crisis. They believe young people will take a decisive role in making this happen. The time is now.
