We live, work, and volunteer as uninvited guests in the traditional territories of the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱sáneć Nations. The Coast Salish people are our leaders, neighbours, and fellow volunteers. They are the stewards of the land and sea in the past, in the present, and in the future. Our work is not possible without the generations of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples who came before us and continue to shape community.

Volunteer Victoria works to hold courageous space where everyone feels welcomed, included, respected, and heard. We commit to being active participants on the path of truth, reconciliation, and decolonization.
