Governance 101 Workshop Virtual or In Person

Volunteer Victoria provides a Building Better Boards Governance 101 orientation to help boards better understand their governance  structure and responsibilities and to help individual board members understand their roles and obligations.

The orientation is particularly useful for boards that are welcoming new board members and for boards who wish to dig deeper into their own practice and goals.

Governance 101: Digging Deeper Online Course

When gathering all of your board members together for a workshop is not the right approach, Volunteer Victoria offers an online governance course for new and returning board members.

The online course is self-paced and covers topics ranging from an introduction to the BC Societies Act to managing and evaluating the performance of an Executive Director.
