Board Governance, Facilitation, and Special Services

Governance 101 In Person

Volunteer Victoria provides a Building Better Boards Governance 101 orientation to help boards better understand their governance  structure and responsibilities and to help individual board members understand their roles and obligations.

The orientation is particularly useful for boards that are welcoming new board members and for boards who wish to dig deeper into their own practice and goals.

Please contact lisa@volunteervictoria.bc.ca to book a free 1.5 hour governance presentation.

Governance 101 Online

The online course is self-paced and covers topics ranging from an introduction to the BC Societies Act to managing and evaluating the performance of an Executive Director.

Participants can register for the course at any time during the year, and for more information please contact george@volunteervictoria.bc.ca
